Highest in July and August; lowest in January and February.

No permit needed (except for special park uses and commercial filming).

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: In addition to the downtown visitor center at 15 State Street, park rangers are stationed at the Charlestown Navy Yard, Bunker Hill Monument, and Faneuil Hall.

Programs: Rangers conduct 90-minute walking tours of the downtown portion of Boston's Freedom Trail daily from mid-April through November. Rangers present historical talks at Faneuil Hall and the Bunker Hill Monument year-round. Rangers conduct seasonal tours of the Charlestown Navy Yard, Commandant's House, and World War Two destroyer USS Cassin Young.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: There is a seasonal snack bar at the Navy Yard. Food and supplies are available in Quincy Market, the North End, and Charlestown. There are many restaurants in the vicinity.

Concessions: The USS Constitution Museum, Old South Meeting House, Old State House, Paul Revere House, and Old North Church all have gift shops. Eastern National bookstores are located at the downtown park visitor center and at Bunker Hill (summer).
