Permits
All hikers must register at the visitor center and obtain permits before their excursions.

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: Far View Visitor Center (open only in the summer) has publications to help you plan your visit. Also visit the Chapin Mesa Archaeological Museum (open all year).

Programs: Educational programs are available through the Far View Visitor Center. Full interpretive services begin in late May and continue through early September.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: Food and gasoline are available only from early spring through late fall. No services are available during the rest of the year.
