Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: At the park nature center (open 9-5 daily) you can an watch an introductory video presentation, participate in interactive learning exhibits, and stop at the aquarium.

Programs: Take a guided hike on the boardwalks, a guided nature walk, or a ranger-led canoe tour and learn about the varied plant and animal life found within the park. Watch a nature program presentation at one of the three education pavilions or outdoor amphitheater at the nature center.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: There is no food available within the park. Retaurants and grocery stores are located in nearby towns.

Concessions: Canoes can be rented at the nature center (225-294-2218). A gift shop in the Nature Center offers souvenirs with a local flavor.
