There is no backcountry camping in this park.

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: Exhibits at the Travertine Nature Center highlight the Forest/Prairie ecosystem of Southern Oklahoma, the significant water resources of springs, creeks, and lakes of Chickasaw National Recreation Area, and the diversity of wildlife and plants located in the park.

Programs: Ranger-led programs are presented daily at the Nature Center. These programs include hikes to Antelope and Buffalo Springs, creek walks, night hikes, and a variety of talks associated with the nature and wildlife ofthe park.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: There are no food facilities located in the park. Food and camping supplies are available in local convenience stores or in the towns of Sulphur and Davis.

Concessions: There is a bookstore at the Nature Center which is managed by the Southwest Parks and Monuments Association.

Visitor Impact
Dogs are prohibited on all the trails leading into the Environmental Study Area (east of the Travertine Nature Center). On other trails, pets must be leased at all times.

During periods of high rainfall, the three low water bridges on Perimeter Drive could be closed without notice.
