Permits
There is no backcountry camping at Reelfoot Lake State Park.

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: An excellent visitor's center on the south end of the lake provides insight into the origin of Reelfoot and its complex ecosystem.

Programs: A great diversity of programs are offered throughout the year by an experienced naturalist staff, with most programs focusing on the natural world of Reelfoot Lake. Examples include Pontoon Boat Cruises on the bayou and the Heron Rookery Swamp Tromp. Bus tours to observe the eagles and waterfowl are offered daily during winter months.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: There is a restaurant open year-round in the park.

Concessions: There is a gift shop open year-round.

Visitor Impact
Pets are allowed in all outdoor areas of the park and must be kept on a leash at all times.

Please Note: Reelfoot Lake State Park's main campground is extremely busy during April and May.
