Visitor Center: The Elizabeth Hartwell Environmental Education Center features exhibits on the plant and animal life of the area, area history and the agencies of the Mason Neck Cooperative Management Area, hands-on activities, a resource library, volunteer exhibit and roving interpretive displays. Programs: Beachcombing, pond study, birdwatching, canoe trips, fishing clinic, active volunteer program, night hikes, teacher workshops, hands-on experiential educational opportunities, evening programs, butterfly gardens, E.A.G.L.E. programs.
