Permits
No backcountry permits are needed. Fishing permits are necessary and can be obtained at most marinas on either Lake Mead or Lake Mojave.

Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: Alan Bible Visitor Center is located off U.S. Highway 93 near Boulder City. Contact stations are situated on Lake Mead at Overton Beach, Echo Bay, Callville Bay, and Las Vegas Bay in Nevada; Temple Bar in Arizona; on Lake Mojave at Cottonwood Cove in Nevada, Katherine and Willow Beach in Arizona.

Programs: Winter lecture series, ranger-led programs and hikes, paddle-wheel tour boat rides to Hoover Dam, and Black Canyon raft trips are available.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: Available at major sites; usually near towns or contact stations.

Concessions: Concessionaires run stores at major sites.
