Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: The visitor center will orient you to the park.

Programs: Set out on a guided hike with the park interpreter and learn about the history, geology, and wildlife of Rock Creek Canyon and the park. Senior citizen walks and children's programs are available and all programs are free. Call the park office for a schedule of programs and events. Schools, scout groups, or other large organizations should call for reservations.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Concessions: For refreshments, ice, camping supplies, firewood, and bait visit the log cabin concession stand, just inside the park's main entrance on the right. Bicycle rentals are available as well as hunting and fishing licenses for sale. You may rent a horse at the park's riding stables on Deselm road, 0.75 mile north of Route 102. Guided horse rides, pony rides, hay rides and cookouts all can be arranged at the stables. Stop by or call 815/939-0309.
