Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: Open year-round, the interpretive center is a popular spot to start your visit to Illinois Beach. Located in the nature preserve, the center has educational displays, a "hands-on" exhibit area, and park staff to answer any questions you might have. At scheduled times, and programs are given to familiarize you with the natural, historical and recreational features of the park. For further information on programs and times call the park office at 847/662-4811.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Concessions: From mid-May to October, a concession store and gift shop is open near the main parking lot in the southern unit, and another concession offering refreshments is located near the park office in the northern unit.
