Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: The Visitor Center features exhibits on the plant and animal life of the area, as well as the folklore surrounding the fairy stones. The visitor center is open on weekends through the summer.

Programs: Interpretive programs, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, include guided nature hikes, Bluegrass music, Junior Rangers, slide presentations, guided fairy stone hunts.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Concessions: Open Memorial Day to Labor Day, the swimming beach is complete with a bathhouse, snack bar and beach toys. Rowboats, paddleboats and canoes are available for rent.

Gasoline-powered boats are not allowed on the 168-acre lake; gasoline-powered boats are allowed on the Philpott Reservoir, which is within a 20-minute drive from the park.
