Visitors Center and Programs
Visitor Center: There are three ranger stations in Green Mountain National Forest. Manchester Ranger Station is located in the southern half of the forest, in Manchester Center. In the northern half of the forest, Rochester Ranger Station is located on Hwy. 100 on the east side of the forest; Middlebury Ranger Station is located on Hwy. 116 on the west side of the forest.

Food Supplies and Concessions
Food/Supplies: Food and supplies are readily available in surrounding communities.

Visitor Impact
Mountain biking and hiking on wet trails is not encouraged in the spring during the height of Mud Season.

Veils and an effective insect repellant are suggested for Black Fly season, in the summer.
