The campgrounds are maintained in cooperation with groups such as the Boy Scouts, the Holiday Ramblers, volunteers, and various student interns from area colleges. Dispersed Camping: Free camping is also allowed throughout the Forest. These areas provide a place to camp and enjoy nature's solitude at no charge.
