Teton Wilderness

Backcountry camping is permitted in the wilderness. Camp out of sight and sound of the trail to be less obvious to other travelers who also seek quiet and solitude. Use earth-tone tents and packs to avoid advertising your presence like a neon sign. If traveling in a well-used area, find an existing campsite that is away from the trail and water. Place tents at least 200 feet from any water source.

Many developed campsites are available in the surrounding Bridger-Teton National Forest.
