Devils Backbone Wilderness  There are no designated backcountry campgrounds; camp at least 200 feet from water sources and choose a pristine site over an obviously used site.There are group campgrounds within nearby Hercules Glades Wilderness, and frontcountry camgrounds in the surrounding Mark Twain National Forest.
