Primitive backcountry camping is permitted in the wilderness, away from trails and water sources. There are some designated sites for backpackers and hikers travelling with stock animals. These sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Many developed campsites are available in the surrounding Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie and Wenatchee National Forests.
