Acadia National Park


There is camping within the park at Blackwoods, Seawall, and Isle au Haut (special use permit camping). Seawall is first-come, first-served. Reservations may be made for Blackwoods by calling 1(800)365-2267, or online at http://reservations.nps.gov/.

For mail-in reservations write to: NPRS, P.O. Box 1600, Cumberland, Maryland 21502.

All camping must be done in established campgrounds; overnight backpacking is prohibited in Acadia National Park. There is additional camping in nearby towns.



Isle au Haut
Region: Isle au Haut

Lean-to's. Need a special use permit for camping at Isle au Haut, May 15-October 15.

Facilities: Chemical toilet, hand pump for water.
