Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area
Camping in the park is available in nearby Worthington State Forest (908-841-9575) along the river in New Jersey. Two group campgrounds are available through permits, and there are backpacking sites on the Appalachian Trail for through-hikers. Contact park for regulations. 570-588-2451. Two group camping areas (one in New Jersey and one in Pennsylvania) are available to non-profit organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and church groups. Call 570-588-2440 for reservations and information.
