Bandelier National Monument
Bandelier National Monument provides tent and RV camping at ninety-four family sites which are usually available year-round except in times of heavy snowfall, on a first-come, first-served basis. A group campground is available seasonally by reservation only. Backcountry camping is available in the more than 23,000 acres of designated park wilderness. Free backcountry camping permits are required for all ovenight hikes and may be obtained at the visitor center together with maps and information on backcountry regulations, camping restrictions, and water availability.
