Six group backpack camping sites are found in the group camping area. Reservations are taken for group backpack camping only. From the park office, there is a pleasant one-mile walk over a well marked trail to reach the primitive camping areas, with ten sites. No vehicles are allowed and no drive-up sites are available. Campers must register at the park office before camping. Camping is on a first come/first served basis, and is available year-round.
