Ordesa National Park

Alpine Summits
The high mountains of Ordesa National Park are the ramparts of the Pyrenees, and bejeweled with mountain meadows, alpine wildflowers, and colorful sedimentary rock formations.

Escuain Gorges
Magnificent deep slashes through the uplift limestone massif underlying the park, in the Tella Valley of the River Yago.

Ordesa Valley
This lush, verdant valley runs east-west, paralleling the Pyrenees, and its swift Arazas River runs cold and wild, with many waterfalls.

Spanish ibex
The last refuge of the highly endangered Spanish ibex is on the rock ledges of the Ordesa Valley.
