Bailly Homestead
Bailly Homestead, a National Historic Landmark, was settled in 1820 by Joseph Bailly, a French Canadian fur trader and his family. This homestead was one of the first in Northwest Indiana.
Chellberg Farm
Established in 1874, the house was the center of a self-sufficient family farm operation typical of northwestern Indiana.
Dunes
Created in the last ice age, over thousands of years, sand dune formation begins by unusually fine sand that blows inland and builds up in small mountains up to 300 feet in height. The dunes support plant and animal life that can?t be found elsewhere.
