Crystal Cave
Discovered in 1918 by two park trail construction employees who were fishing along Cascade Creek on their day off, this cave is a popular destination for visitors to the park. Must take a guided tour.
General Sherman Tree
The largest tree in the world, in terms of volume of wood, the General Sherman Tree is 274.9' (83.8 meters) tall and 102.6' (31.3 meters) in circumference at its base. It boasts 52,500 cubic feet (1486.6 cubic meters) of wood.
Kings Canyon
Some refer to this glaciated, U-shaped canyon as "the rival to Yosemite". Kings Canyon, in the Cedar Grove region, presents towering granite cliffs, tumbling waterfalls and a powerful river.
